Most brands create one ad per product—that’s a mistake. People buy for different reasons. So, we made two UGC videos per product, tailored to different customer avatars.

For Ben’s supplement brand, we created:

  1. Health-conscious buyer – Focused on ingredients and wellness benefits.
  2. Performance-focused buyer – Focused on energy and athletic performance.

This approach doubled conversion rates because each video spoke directly to different audience needs.

Step 4: Direct Traffic to TikTok Shop & Shopify Store

Unlike traditional funnel marketing, we kept it simple:

  • 50% of ads directed buyers to the TikTok Shop (for seamless impulse purchases).
  • 50% of ads led to the Shopify store for additional upsells and brand credibility.

This mix ensured we captured both spontaneous buyers and higher-ticket customers.

Step 5: Scale with Smart Ad Budgeting

You don’t need to dump thousands into TikTok ads upfront. Here’s how we scaled Ben’s campaign profitably:

  1. Start with $20–$30/day in ad spend.
  2. Slowly increase to $50–$100/day as conversions roll in.
  3. Identify the winning videos and increase their budget.
  4. Kill underperforming ads to maximize ROI.

By testing multiple variations, we quickly found the most profitable ads and scaled them aggressively.
